In the height of 2020, Isabelle had just graduated college and Dylan was temporarily living in Florida with some friends. It was there that their mutual friend Pat had posted a picture of Dylan that caught Isabelle's eye, and the rest is history! After weeks of nightly facetime calls spent getting to know each other, Dylan finally moved back to the craziness of New York City to finally have an *official* first date together. After Isabelle's heels were bleeding from walking across all of Manhattan with Dylan on their first date, he knew she was the one. The next year, they got their first apartment together in Lower Manhattan, where they failed terribly at a foster attempt and adopted their dog-ter, Marsha! After years of Dylan putting up with Physician Assistant student Isabelle, and Isabelle letting Dylan take up their whole tiny NYC apartment with his Christmas village, their love only continued to grow and they knew this was something that only visits once in a lifetime. Together, they’ve shared a love of traveling across the world, trying countless new foods, cooking side by side, and hiking every trail they could find (most importantly the one in Norway where Dylan finally popped the question!). One of their greatest shared loves is spending as much time as possible each summer on Halsey Island, Lake Hopatcong. So, when choosing a place to get married, the decision was easy—there was simply nowhere that felt more like home to start the next chapter of their story.
