we are getting married!

It was 2017 when Gaia decided she wanted to move from her small hometown in Italy all the way to America, precisely in North Carolina and study at High Point University for a semester...little did she know that HPU was a perfect match for her! Gaia was supposed to study abroad only for a semester but luckily she was able to extend her stay to attend HPU for another semester and take Tax class where she met Dylan. They studied together and starting being close friends but unfortunately Gaia's time in the US was up and Dylan had his after-college Air Force plans lined up so they stayed in touch for a while and eventually stopped talking, moving on with their lives. On a nice and fun night during the summer of 2020, Dylan decided to reach back out to Gaia and see how she was doing. Meanwhile Gaia had moved to California to pursue her Master's, very convenient for Dylan now that she was not in another country anymore. Jokes aside, the two reunited and it was love at first sight (or second, who cares for the technicalities). They started their long distance relationship, CA to GA with a little extra distance when Dylan got deployed to Qatar in 2021. Besides being far apart they always felt close to each others and were able to keep building their relationship stronger and happier. Finally, at the end of 2022, Dylan was able to join Gaia in California, where the two got their own apartment and started experiencing the everyday joy, love, struggle, craziness of living a life together. Clearly that has been going very well for them, so much that Dylan decided to seal the deal and propose to Gaia on December 15th 2023 by some cute waterfalls in South Carolina! Since that moment, they have been very excited for the future and their big day!! Let's make the wedding day, a special one to remember forever.
