FAQs

If you have any questions for us other than what we've listed here, please reach out to Dana at (203) 536-0340.
Question

Do I need to bring my vaccine card or my ID to the wedding?

Answer

Yes, per NYC mandates all wedding events will require proof of vaccination for entry. This includes Welcome Drinks at the Ainslie, the Ceremony/Reception at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the Afterparty at Radegast. Along with a photo ID (e.g., your driver's license), please bring one of the following: - Photo or hard copy of your CDC vaccination card - NYC COVID Safe app - NY Excelsior App - Physical vaccine record - Photo or hard copy of an official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside of the U.S. For your convenience, you can upload a photo of your vaccine card ahead of time using this survey: https://forms.gle/CAkdtEQkZZB47Xqz9 Your vaccine information will only be shared with Garden Staff to ensure a smooth check-in experience for our guests.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

To allow time for check-in with Garden Staff, we ask that all guests arrive a bit before the ceremony (6:00 P.M.). Please bring your proof of vaccination with you, which will be required to enter the event.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code for Welcome Drinks will be dressy casual (sundresses, button-downs, etc.). Our wedding is Black-Tie (floor-length dresses or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties).

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

Yes. We have shuttles picking guests up at 5:30 P.M. from the Williamsburg Hotel and the Marriott Brooklyn Bridge. We'll also have shuttles to take guests to the afterparty and hotels after the reception.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We certainly know what it's like to attend a wedding with dietary restrictions :) We will have options for our gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan guests. Simply ask your server at the reception, and we will do our best to accommodate. Should you have additional restrictions or concerns, please reach out to Dana.

Question

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

If your invitation says your date's name, then yes. If not, we would prefer it if it was just you. We love your kids, but we would love for your wedding to be your night off! If you need babysitters, please reach out to us and we can try to help make that a reality :)

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Jung Lee, Lori Karbal, Crate and Barrel, Bloomingdales, West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, and a few other spots. For more information, please visit the Registry page on our website: www.zola.com/wedding/dylananddana2020/registry.

Question

Will I have to wear a mask at the wedding?

Answer

Masks are not required. However, if it makes you feel more comfortable, please feel free to wear a mask.
