Here's to Forever!

Dylan and I met in the sixth grade hallways of West Lincoln Middle School. We ran in the same circle and became fast friends; although, he didn't know the kind of massive crush I'd had on him. It wasn't until high school that he gave me any time of day, but I had settled my interest elsewhere. We went out some, then ended it. Went out again, ended it again. By senior year though, we were officially official. We both went to college at Appalachian State, but Dylan was the working type. He came home to start a career, and I stayed at school to get my teaching degree. It seemed like we had different dreams, different plans. We broke up for a year and a half; the worst year and a half there ever was, for both of us. Dylan worked while I studied; miles apart, just hearing of each other through the grape vine. I swore it was an accidental call when Dylan's name popped up on my cell phone one night in my apartment in Boone. I answered hesitantly and was so surprised to hear Dylan's voice on the other end asking me how I've been. We met up again to find out how the time had changed us. And, the rest is pretty much history. We've loved each other since we've known what love was, and we're so so excited to share our day with you. - Caroline
