Why is your wedding so far away!?

Answer

After months and months and months of researching venues, going on site visits, getting quotes, and doing some soul searching, we determined that an intimate, relaxed beach wedding with our closest family and friends is more in line with our wedding vision. The family of one of our close friends kindly agreed to let us use their beach house in the Outer Banks for the occasion, so we couldn't resist the opportunity to exchange our vows in one of our favorite places.

Are my children invited to the wedding?

Answer

We love your kids! However, we are kindly requesting our wedding be adults only, outside of immediate family. Thank you for understanding!

What should I do if I'm unable to attend?

Answer

While we would love for you to celebrate with us in-person, we understand that some will have to attend in spirit. If you know you will be unable to attend, please let us know ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing food, beer, and wine. There might also be a special cocktail or two.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beachy and casual! Think loose, button shirts and shorts for guys, and flowy dresses for ladies. Shoes are optional. We want you to be comfortable!

Where will the cermony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the beach house, Pastaficio. Please check our "Travel" page for more details, including ideas on where to stay. The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors (weather permitting, fingers crossed).

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is extremely limited, so we ask that you please use Uber or Lyft to get to and from the wedding. (Plus, that will give everyone the opportunity to enjoy adult beverages safely!) If you absolutely must drive to the location, please let us know and we will make arrangements ahead of time!

Can I post photos of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please! However, we are requesting an "unplugged ceremony," so please have your phones put away at that time. Enjoy us saying "I do" with the sunset and ocean waves in the background. Otherwise, please help us capture our special day!
