Bride
Hannah is the daughter of Chris and Wendy Davis. Born in Owatonna, MN, she moved to Slayton, MN, when she was 8 months old and lived there for the rest of her childhood. Along the way, she gained two younger brothers, Cole and Beau (Eric), who are serving as ushers in the wedding. Hannah works as a home health speech language pathologist in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities currently. In her free time, she enjoys reading, DIY home projects, running, trying new recipes, gardening, hiking, traveling, and spending lots of time with Rooney, her furry child.
Groom
Tate is the son of Joe (Heather) Meyer and Nikki Whiting. He grew up in Parker, SD, and moved to Slayton, MN between 7th and 8th grade. He has three younger sisters, Elie Meyer, Emersyn Meyer, and Terryn Fuller, who will be welcoming guests into the ceremony. He also has two younger brothers, Davin Fuller and Teague Meyer, who will be serving as ushers. Tate currently works as a school psychologist at a high school in Bloomington. In his free time, Tate's hobbies include: cheering on Minnesota sports teams, grooming the lawn, gaming, D&D, traveling, reading, fishing, and walking Rooney, his favorite doggo.
Maid of Honor
Marina's and Hannah's lives have intertwined for a long time. Though they both grew up in the same grade in school, they first really became close in 4th grade in Mrs. Bengston's classroom. They were involved in many of the same activities in high school, including Band, Choir, Drama, and even Golf (many good times were had with the golf girlies)! They both attended USD in Vermillion, where Marina met her now husband, Jacob, who is also a good friend of Tate's and Hannah's. The four of them have shared some adventures, including sorority/fraternity date parties, "Library" nights, a Vikings game, a vacation to Colorado, and quite a few wedding reception dances in the last few years. Marina and Hannah share a creative spirit and love for capturing photos, especially candids! Marina now resides in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband, Jacob, and their daughter, Margot.
Best Man
Both Tate and Hannah befriended Dan during their time at USD; Dan was dating and is now married to Hannah's roommate at the time, Emma. This is actually how Dan and Tate initially crossed paths. The two enjoyed (and still enjoy) hijinks and horseplay, as well as sports, Star Wars, Elton John's musical talent, and The Office. Dan's go-to prank on Tate was pouring stale Dr. Pepper on Tate in the middle of a shower (being that Dan is 6'9, it's safe to say Tate didn't see it coming). Tate enjoyed cheering his buddy on from the stands of the Sanford Coyotes Sports Center in Vermillion, as Dan played basketball for the USD Coyotes through college. Dan's now traded in his basketball-handling skills for bottle-handling skills. Dan's wife is Emma, and together they have two young children, Taya (flower girl) and Micah. He lives in Rochester, MN, with his family, and works for The Mayo Clinic.
Bridesmaid
Emma and Hannah became close in their college years down in Vermillion. Emma was looking for a roommate and happened to connect with Hannah, who was also looking for a living arrangement, on Facebook. Not always the case, but this time, the random Facebook-acquired-roommate situation panned out. And really well, actually! Hannah and Emma have a lot in common, both being first-born daughters who look at the world with a responsible (though some may use the term "bossy") set of eyes. They spent many nights sitting in the bleachers watching Emma's boyfriend (now husband), Dan, playing basketball for USD, tailgating before football games, and having movie and game nights in McFadden Hall. Nowadays their laughs are usually over silly stories about Emma's two kiddos and their cheers are over career moves and home projects. Through it all, Hannah's grateful to have a friend with a kind heart who sees the world from a similar perspective - the right one, obviously ;) ! Emma resides in Rochester, MN, with her husband, Dan (best man), son Micah, daughter, Taya (flower girl). She works at Mayo Foundation House.
Groomsman
Landon and Tate go wayyy back. Like, we're talking diapers. Dirty ones. They spent their summers driving around their hometown, Parker, SD, on their bikes causing trouble wherever they went. Between backyard wiffleball, long summer days at the pool, torturing babysitters, and standing side-by-side for community ed. sports, they grew up together. Even after Tate moved to Minnesota between 7th and 8th grade, the two kept in contact through the years. Landon even served as Tate's right hand man during Tate's proposal, capturing lots of pictures of the engagement that Tate and Hannah can cherish forever. Landon now lives in Portland, Oregon, working as a construction manager and is also a member of the Army National Guard. He recently served abroad in the middle east, and the couple are very grateful he is able to stand by Tate's side on this important day.
Bridesmaid
Heidi has been a close friend of Hannah's since they were little tikes. Heidi and Hannah were involved in just about all of the same activities throughout their school days: Swim Team, Math Masters, Speech, JO Volleyball, Faith Formation, Knowledge Bowl, Drama, Band, 4H and Choir. As teenagers, their activities took them to Washington D.C., Indianapolis, and New York City together. Though they went different directions after high school, they remained close, picking up right where they left off whenever they had the chance (even shutting down the local coffee shop in Slayton over holiday breaks after hours of chatting about anything and everything)! Heidi currently resides in Arizona with her husband, Matt, and son, William. When she's not being a super-mom, she's working as an internal medicine physician and completing a fellowship in oncology.
Groomsman
Jack's and Tate's friendship traces back to junior high and high school, shortly after Tate moved to Slayton. Both were involved in Drama, Band, and Choir at Murray County Central High School, and enjoyed many shenanigans during their days in SW Minnesota. One time, the two embraced their inner "Impractical Jokers," dressing up and pretending to be real-life Steve Urkels in a local Walmart. Safe to say, the employees were less than impressed by the pair's goofiness and they were (not-so-politely) asked to leave the premises. Once Tate moved to the Twin Cities area a few years back, the two have been able to reconnect in person more often and enjoy going to concerts and sporting events when their schedules allow. Jack resides in St. Paul, MN, with his wife, Rose, and is employed as an airline pilot for Delta.
Bridesmaid
Liz and Hannah go back to elementary school. Liz and Hannah's biggest connection, however, was the sport of golf. They both had fathers who got them on the golf course shortly after they could walk; every year they would compete against each other in the annual junior golf tourney in Slayton, taking turns each year on who would take home the 1st place trophy, with the other taking 2nd. They continued to play golf alongside one another on the same team throughout high school. As the years passed, they also enjoyed many late night drives and talks, an annual Christmas baking weekend for the Slayton UPS drivers (a decade old tradition now), and lots of laughter along the way. They like to look at their friendship as a comfortable balance between Liz's wild spirit and Hannah's worry-wart nature. Liz currently lives in Slayton, MN, and works for UPS as a driver.
Groomsman
Brady has been a close friend of Tate's since his high school days at MCC High School. Though a year behind Tate in school, the two were both involved in football and baseball after Tate's move to Slayton. They also share a love for fishing (but they won't tell you where their favorite spots are). Fun fact: Tate's probably lost more lures than he's caught fish when fishing alongside Brady. One could say Brady is Tate's "unlucky fishing charm." After high school, Brady and Tate both ended up in Vermillion for college, where they continued to maintain their friendship. Brady is engaged to his fiance, Annika, and he currently lives in Chicago where he is studying to be a dentist.
Bridesmaid
Elena was the first person to know that Tate and Hannah were officially dating way back in the spring of 2015. Elena joined the Davis family for Hannah's senior year as an exchange student from Moena, Italy. With two brothers, Hannah was hoping to have the unique experience of having a "sister." They connected over their taste in music (shoutout to Ed Sheeran & One Direction) and their love for movies (mainly comedy & horror). Elena also joined the choir at MCC with Hannah and fit right in with Hannah's family. By the end of her exchange year, it was a teary goodbye. In 2023, Elena made a trip back overseas to do a tour of America, stopping in NYC, Chicago, and L.A.. Tate and Hannah flew out to meet Elena and her friends in Los Angeles and the group had a fun-filled week of touring SoCal and catching up over walks on the beach and bumper-to-bumper traffic on the 101. Elena now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with her fiance, Jonny, and works in graphic design for Scotland's Tourism Department and enjoys side jobs of waitressing and social media management because this girl LOVES to be busy :)
Groomsman
Michael and Tate met in perhaps the most interesting way... by complete, random luck. Tate and Hannah were downtown in Shakopee, MN, for St. Patrick's Day in 2023 and happened to snag a larger table at a bar with standing room only; two empty chairs remained and Katie, Michael's wife, asked if the pair of them could join Tate and Hannah. Soon, the two couples engaged in conversation watching March Madness games and realized they had a LOT in common, including a love for breweries and local sports. They spent the rest of the night chatting and exchanged numbers with the promise of connecting again soon. They've consistently met up at least monthly (and sometimes more often) for the last few years since then to trial local breweries, kick butt (sort of) in Tuesday night trivia, and cheer on MN United. Michael resides in Shakopee, MN, with his wife, Katie, and son, Kasper, who is serving as the ring-bearer. He works as a director for an agricultural company here in the Twin Cities.
Flower Girl
Taya is the daughter of Dan & Emma Jech (both part of the wedding party). Tate and Hannah have been blessed to be a part of many of Taya's milestones as she lives in Rochester with her parents.
Ring Bearer
Kasper is the son of Michael & Katie Kreber, who are friends of both Tate and Hannah. Kasper has joined the bunch in cheering on the Vikings and MN United since he was a month old!
Personal Attendant
Rachel and Hannah were roommates in McFadden with Emma at USD in Vermillion. Rachel and Hannah enjoyed many tailgates and a fun spring break trip to Texas during their undergrad years. Funny story: when Rachel started dating her current husband (Sus) in college, the group hung up an honorary Christmas stocking for him in their apartment next to their cute stockings. Tate noticed and asked the roommates why there was a random white sock with "Jesus" written on it... everyone of course laughed at his question as Tate apparently was the only one left who hadn't put 2 & 2 together and realized that Sus's full name was "Jesus." Rachel is a podiatrist and is living in Santa Fe, NM, with her husband, Jesus (AKA, Sus).
Usher
Davin is Tate's brother and Nikki's son. Davin and Tate enjoy playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons together, have similar tastes in television shows, and share their preference for music. Davin has come to visit Tate and Hannah often in the Twin Cities and shares their love for a good brewery and some board games. In fact, Davin + beer + a board game usually results in some PASSIONATE "discussion," especially if the cards aren't in his favor. (Just ask Nikki, Terryn, Tate, & Hannah about the trip up North in fall of 2025). Davin currently resides in Sioux Falls, SD, and works in architectural design.
Personal Attendant
Amylyn and Hannah lived a block away from each other for most of their childhoods. They initially met through Girl Scouts and dance, but they also enjoyed rollerblading around Slayton, swim team, and playing video games in Amylyn's basement as they grew up. Amylyn currently resides in Buffalo, MN, with her husband, Tyler, and works as a veterinarian there.
Usher
Teague is Tate's brother as well as Joe & Heather's son. They share a love for baseball, football, wrestling, and love to tease one another every year during their family fantasy football league faceoff. Teague will be a freshman at South Dakota State University this year and is planning to study mechanical engineering.
Personal Attendant
Sierra and Hannah first became closer friends in 5th grade in Mr. Schleisman's class. In fact, she, Heidi (bridesmaid), and Hannah formed a club of their own called the "HHS." Though no one can remember what purpose the club actually served, there was a notebook, notekeeper, and secret code created. They've maintained their friendship through the years and Sierra even traded in her Jackrabbit ears for the some Coyote paws for a tailgate down in Vermillion. Sierra is a nurse and lives in Sioux Falls, SD, with her husband, Nolan, and children, Aiden and Kennedy.
Ceremony Greeter
Elie is Tate's sister, as well as Joe and Heather's oldest daughter. Tate always appreciates Elie's cooking when at his dad's house... he especially loves her signature buffalo chicken dip on a chilly fall Sunday afternoon watching the Vikings play. Elie is an ultrasound technician and is currently living & working in Alexandria, MN.
Usher
Cole is Hannah's brother and has spent lots of time with Tate and Hannah as he attended USD in Vermillion when the couple was still in town. Cole enjoyed coming over to their apartment for game nights, suppers made by Hannah, and to watch the Vikings and Timberwolves. Cole just finished law school this year and moved to Chicago to begin working.
Ceremony Greeter
Terryn is Tate's sister and daughter of Nikki. She is Tate's spunkiest sibling and he always gets a kick out of her sassiness going back to when she was a toddler. She has a big heart and is also a fellow USD coyote. She is entering her senior year of her undergraduate degree with plans to attend graduate school to become a mental health counselor.
Usher
Beau (Eric) Davis is Hannah's youngest brother and the couple are close with him, having had him visit them every summer for a week over the last 5 years. They've done it all, from trips to the Omaha Zoo, Asheville, NC, and Canada to visit Hannah's extended family there. Beau just graduated high school and will be doing a local job-training program in Worthington, MN, this year.
Ceremony Greeter
Emersyn is Tate's youngest sister and daughter of Joe and Heather. Emersyn is certainly the baby of the family, and Tate is fascinated by how lenient his dad is in parenting her versus his memory of his childhood. However, Tate and Emersyn both share a love for dogs, board games, and Hairbo sour s'ghetti candy (yuck!). Rooney, Tate and Hannah's pup, loves Emersyn, too. Emersyn is a freshman in high school this year in Slayton.
