This is one of our favorite places in Columbus. It is a market full of local and international cuisine, drinks, produce, and handmade items. Check out Momo Ghar, Jeni's and the wine bar.
Frannie used to live in German Village and it is where we have spent a lot of time together. It is the cutest little neighborhood just a mile from downtown but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Check out Schiller Park, Schmidt's Sausage Haus, Old Mohawk Tavern, Lindey's and the Book Loft for the coolest bookstore you can imagine.
The Short North is the arts district of Columbus where you can find many artistic murals and activities. This is also where some of our favorite bars and restaurants are located. For an upscale atmosphere we recommend The Pearl, Wine on High, and Denmark. For breweries we recommend North High Brewing, Wolf's Ridge Brewing, and Land Grant Brewing Co. For a laid back, less busy and unpretentious atmosphere we recommend Bernard's - strong drinks and cheaper than most other places nearby.
Local Brewery with lots of good beverages to taste at their downtown brewery.
Another great local brewery with some great brunch as well.
One more local brewery that is a little more off the beaten path but still well worth it.
A local distillery that also has a fantastic restaurant attached.
Frannie used to work here. Highly recommended and free admission on Sundays!
