Mike and Nicole were introduced by Meaghan Clancy (Mike's long-time friend and Nicole's college roommate) at a summer concert. They met again around Halloween a few months later at Meaghan and Nicole's apartment. From then until New Years the happy couple built a relationship based mainly on Philly sports, Bud Light, and a whole lot of Fireball (yuck). Mike and Nicole officially became a couple when the clock struck midnight, 2015. Mike became an honorary UD student, visiting almost every weekend, and is now confused as a cheer alumni. After college, Nicole moved back with her parents in North Jersey while Mike lived at his parent's in South Jersey. They only saw each other on the weekends so they easily decided to move together to Delaware where Mike got a job at JP Morgan and Nicole began teaching in Wilmington. In February 2017 they added an important addition to their relationship... Puppy Mason! The adorable cockapoo brought challenges to the love birds but Nicole immediately noticed Mike's natural ability to love and to teach and fell in love with him even more. They continued to grow as a couple, become parts of each others families, and support each other through work and life. Three years, one month, and seventeen days of dating later, Mike used his birthday celebration in Ocean City, NJ as a distraction and decoy to get down on one knee and ask Nicole to marry him while surrounded by friends on her favorite beach. On March 9th, 2018, Mike and Nicole closed on their first house together in Delaware. Nicole got a new job in Hockessin, Mike moved up at work, and the wedding planning began!
