Question

What is the weather like in Puerto Vallarta in February?

Answer

You can expect the conditions to include warm sunny days and pleasant evenings. During the day, the weather is temperate and you can easily wear light clothes. Warmer clothes at night during this, the local winter, this could be a light sweater, a cotton jacket or a long-sleeve shirt, but if you are from a cold climate, you'll be fine with short sleeves. Temperatures start to go down before sunset, around 6 PM or 7 PM, with the low temperature in the early morning and then start to rise again when the sun comes up. February: Average High: 80ºF (26.6ºC) / Low 62ºF (16ºC)

Question

What is the best way to get around once I am in Puerto Vallarta?

Answer

Please see the homepage for notes on transportation from the airport. To get around for the remainder of your stay, we highly recommend using Uber as it is very inexpensive and typically readily available. Taxis are also readily available and the bellboys at the hotel will be more than happy to get one lined up for you. Once you are downtown it is usually very easy to flag one down as they drive around. For those who have not used Uber, you can download it in your app store and sign up very easily

Question

Do I need restaurant reservations?

Answer

We definitely recommend them! When we visited last year we were unable to get into the Steakhouse (BocaDos) as they were already booked for our full stay. Since these restaurants are included with your all-inclusive package we think it definitely makes sense to plan ahead to ensure you get to try all of their best food! Not all of their restaurants take or require reservations, so if you do not make reservations there will always be somewhere you will be able to eat (It may just limit your restaurant choices to the less popular ones). Room service is also included with your stay. To make reservations please call the front desk and ask to speak to concierge who will be happy to make your reservation for up to 10 people. Restaurants that take reservations: Bocados STK - Steakhouse Blanca Blue - Mexican Dao (Included for Hotel Mousai Guests Only) - Chinese Noi (Included for Hotel Mousai Guests Only) - Italian
