House Or Rental
We highly recommend reserving accommodations at the venue to stay at, not only for your convenience, but also for top-notch summer camp retreat vibes. Shared amenities include incredible views, fire pits, a hot tub, and a sauna! Light breakfast is also provided for one day. These will be available for booking up until our wedding day. Please note, this option will also be available to book by outside parties, so we can't ensure they will be available. However, they are a great last-minute option while also staying on-site!
Hotel
If you're interested, Saltwater Farms also offers free sites for tent camping. They are very basic, however, bathrooms and showers are accessible nearby. Be sure to fill out the google doc after clicking the "View" button below!
Flight
For those travelling via plane (and not renting a car in the Seattle/Tacoma area), you will need to catch a hopper flight to Friday Harbor (on San Juan Island). Kenmore Air and Friday Harbor Seaplanes offer scheduled flights from Boeing & Paine Field, Lake Union, and South Lake Washington as well as shuttle service from Sea-Tac airport. San Juan Airlines offers daily scheduled flights from Bellingham and Anacortes. Either way, you're sure to have some incredible views on the way over!
Rental Car
If travelling via car from Seattle/Tacoma, you'll need to drive to Anacortes (~3hrs from Tacoma), then take a ferry from Anacortes to get to Friday Harbor (on San Juan Island, ~1hr ferry ride)! Please be sure to book a reservation for the ferry. The ferries fill up quickly and a reservation is very much recommended. Summer sailing dates opened up on 4/22 and in case a sailing date/time fills up, additional spots will open up 2 weeks as well as 2 days prior to the sailing date. When booking your reservation, keep in mind that WSDOT recommends arriving at the Ferry terminal 1hr prior to departure (if not checked in 30min prior to your depart time, your reso is forfeit and you'll be charged a fee!). If available, based on check in/out times at SWF, I'd recommend the 2pm ferry departing from Anacortes on 9/8 and the 1:55pm ferry departing Friday Harbor (for the return trip) on 9/10. :). Be sure to keep your cameras at the ready - the views are stunning, and you might even see a whale!
