PNW Formal. ;) Aka, dressy casual or whatever you're most comfortable in! Practical footwear recommended, as the day's events will take place across grass, gravel, and hard flooring.
We highly recommend staying at Saltwater Farm for your convenience! The guesthouses are all located close to the ceremony space, hot tub/sauna, and each other (spaced out for privacy), and have views of the woods or water! Most of the tiny homes are a bit more central (between reception and ceremony spaces) and most have their own firepits. The airstream trailers are located closer to the parking and reception space. Almost all of the options have multiple beds as well. Feel free to choose what suits your group best!
Check-in is at 4pm on Monday, 9/8 and checkout will be at 11am on Weds, 9/10!
Yes! We have been staying at Tucker House Inn and have enjoyed it. It's one of the more cost effective options at Friday Harbor, is in a great location downtown, and it's also a B&B! Their breakfasts have been delicious and they cater to a variety of dietary needs. :)
If driving, you'll need to make a reservation on the Anacortes/San Juan Island (Friday Harbor) Ferry. Book early to save your spot before the Ferry fills up! If flying in, there are several airlines that offer hopper flights from Bellingham, Everett/Paine, or even Sea-Tac airports (some require a short bus ride to another location). Some companies even offer seaplanes that fly in from Tacoma (Ruston) or Lake Union! No matter how you choose to get here, the journey over will undoubtedly be gorgeous - so keep your cameras at the ready! :)
You won’t find Uber or Lyft in the San Juan Islands, however, Salish Sea Island Cabs (360-378-6777) provides local taxi services. Alternatively, you can rent a car/scoot coupe/moped/bike or walk if you're feeling adventurous!
It's only a 5min drive, 10min bike ride, or a 30min walk!

The San Juan Islands is an archipelago in the Pacific Northwest of the United States between the U.S. state of Washington and Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The San Juan Islands are part of Washington state. In the archipelago, four islands are accessible to vehicular and foot traffic via the Washington State Ferries system, including San Juan Island (home to Friday Harbor, where our venue is located), Shaw Island, Orcas Island, and Lopez Island.
Feel free to check out https://www.visitsanjuans.com/what-to-do for current events! Just make sure to filter on Friday Harbor (San Juan Island). :)
