While Dustin was traversing the country and Roxanne was entering into an uncharted new season of her life; these two travelers, by happenstance, met online and immediately literally could not stop talking to one another. Dustin had made a quick visit to Oklahoma City to meet a friend and had already left & arrived home to Indiana when the two of them shared their first exchange of {so.many} words. Since Dustin had no schedule and was traveling the country by himself, he took a chance in driving the full day’s worth of time to have coffee with Roxanne. Roxanne took an equally big risk in meeting him for the first time as the situation, itself, was quite out of the ordinary. After all, it had only been 4 days of talking before Dustin volunteered to drive 12 hours just for coffee (murderer or romantic? Hard to tell!) Since that day, the conversations continued to deepen and the love flourished as the two learned more and more about one another. Eventually, Dustin moved to Oklahoma City to see if a relationship could bloom. It did exactly that, and within a couple months, they had committed themselves to one another. May of 2021, while their favorite Sylvan Esso song was playing, Roxanne asked Dustin to marry her.
