How is Covid-19 affecting the wedding?

Answer

Well we have become experts at postponing events. Just kidding... But we are deeply saddened covid is affecting our wedding but even more so about all the heartbreak it has caused throughout our country and across the world. We have postponed our initial back up date- 10/30, due to logistics and we feel things are just too uncertain to travel right now. We instead have decided to have a one year anniversary party next year 5/30/2021. Will plan on sending more information out as the date gets closer! We did get married in a very tiny ceremony 5/30/20 with our parents and siblings- it was perfect minus the fact that not everyone could be there. We hope to have a great celebration & party for our first anniversary including getting to do our own vows as we saved doing that in the presence of all our friends and family. We thank you all for your support through all of this- we feel so lucky to be surrounded by so much love. And we know you all will be ready to party!

Tell me more about the park...

Ponce De Leon's Fountain of Youth Park is located off Magnolia Avenue which is one of the most beautiful streets in town--tunneled by oak trees. The park has ample amounts of parking- just allow yourself time for downtown St Augustine traffic getting there. You may arrive at 445 pm to take a look around the park before the ceremony starts. The park will close at 5 pm and be ours for the rest of the night. There will be one final cannon firing prior to the start of our ceremony around 5 pm-- so those who are jumpy have been prewarned. And keep an eye out for the peacock wedding crashers :)

How do I RSVP to new date?

Thank you all for your original RSVPs- we LOVED getting mail every day!! Will send out more information regarding this as the date gets closer! But will plan for online RSVP via our website

What should I wear?

Answer

Beach dressy/garden party/cocktail attire-- the vow ceremony will be outside in Florida so we want you to be comfortable but it will be shaded and on the water. The reception will be indoors. The park is well manicured- so as for footwear you shouldn't have to do much off roading.

How do I get to say hi to Lacie and Maverick?

Answer

Rest assured-- part of our excitement about the FOY was that our doggies are welcome there for part of our big day **Please take caution in formal attire when near Maverick as cute ladies make him drool**
