Bride
Kelci was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. She was raised by her wonderful and supportive parents, Ronny and Stephanie and grew up with her older brother, James. Kelci developed a love for animal care at a very young age. Her family always had pets around and they taught her the value of being a responsible pet owner since before she could walk! She knew by the age of 4 years old that she wanted to be a Veterinarian. Between the ages of 9-14, Kelci found an interest in modeling and acting. She auditioned for a few commercials here and there, but ultimately landed more modeling jobs until she decided that this was more of a hobby for her than a future career choice. Kelci attended Spring Valley High School where she found a passion for biology and medicine and graduated with an honors degree in 2013. She then moved to Reno, NV to attend the University of Nevada, Reno and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Sciences in 2018. In 2021, she moved to Tucson, AZ to attend the University of Arizona and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2024. Today, Kelci is a General Practice Veterinarian in Reno, NV and she is absolutely loving every minute of doing what she was born to do! She lives with her fiancé, Dustin, their 2 dogs, Bruce and Frankie, and their two chinchillas, Jayde and Daiya! Here are some of Kelci’s favorite things: - Dachshunds - Warm blankets - Matcha Lattes - Halloween - Glitter - Giraffes - Spa days - Taking naps
Maid of Honor
Andrea and Kelci met when Kelci was 8 years old and Andrea was 6 years old at a community day camp in Las Vegas, NV. Both of their parents worked during the spring, summer, and winter breaks. Therefore, they would reunite again at this same day camp every year for 5 years. Interestingly enough, Andrea and Kelci did not like each other at first! Luckily, that did not last long at all. After a measly little game of Ring Around the Rosey, the laughter and joy that they shared was enough to start a beautiful friendship! During this time, they exchanged numbers to keep in touch since they never went to the same school. They spent several years going on family trips together, partaking in sleepovers, going trick-or-treating, going on double-dates, experiencing the ups and downs of the adolescent years, and everything in between. Friends have come and gone but 22 years later, they remain the best of friends! Who would have thought that a tiny little moment back in the early 2000s when they called each other on their land lines for the first time would have lead to a life long friendship 🤍
Bridesmaid
Angi and Kelci met in 2013 when they were assigned as dormitory roommates at UNR during their freshman year. Though having a roommate was not entirely what they wanted at first, Angi and Kelci became inseparable immediately. Though they pursued different majors and did not have any classes with one another, Angi and Kelci spent almost every waking moment with each other outside of class. Many of Kelci’s favorite memories from UNR often include her and Angi experiencing all that college life had to offer from hiking with other classmates to help repaint the “N” on Peavine Mountain, being apart of the Lincoln Haunted Basement Crew during Halloween, super late nights playing pool in Lincoln Hall, participating in the Homecoming dance off, and so much more. For the next 3 years, Angi and Kelci continued to live as roommates living in several different apartment complexes throughout the Reno area. During this time, the world was intimidating for two young women in their early 20s and they navigated life the best they could, but they knew they always had each other to confide in at the end of each day. Eventually, Angi and Kelci went their separate ways as they continued to grow and build their own lives. Despite being long distance friends for nearly 10 years, they always kept in touch. Kelci is so excited for Angi to join her on her special day!
Bridesmaid
Anna and Kelci met back in 2018 at a veterinary clinic that they had both started working at around the same time. Anna had just graduated veterinary school and was taking on the world as a brand new Veterinarian. While Kelci had also taken on a new role herself having just received her Veterinary Technician (Nursing) Training license. During this time, Anna and Kelci began bonding over their love for dachshunds when Kelci would bring hers to work with her on a daily basis and then Anna eventually got one for herself! Anna and Kelci were placed on the same team and worked together for the next 3 years until Kelci got accepted to Veterinary school! Anna has always been a great inspiration and mentor to Kelci. Once Kelci left to pursue her dream of becoming a Veterinarian, they planned to meet up again one day to continue to work with one another. Though they were apart for 3 years, Anna never stopped mentoring Kelci while she journeyed through school. Kelci and Anna never backed out on their promise to one another. After Kelci graduated and earned her DVM, she joined Anna’s team! They have worked side by side as Veterinarians together since October of 2024!
Bridesmaid
Chelsea and Kelci met back in September of 2020 when Chelsea began dating Dustin’s brother, Josh. They did long distance for a while as Chelsea still lived back in Maryland at that time. When she would come to visit, she would stay in the house that Josh, Dustin, and Kelci all lived in together. Chelsea and Kelci became instant friends! I mean, with similar sounding names, how could they not? For the past 4 years, they have always looked forward to spending time together whenever her and Josh would come back to Reno for the holidays. Kelci always looks forward to all of the delicious treats Chelsea makes during the holidays, picking out matching pjs to wear, going to the spa, and just spending girl time together! In November of 2024, Chelsea and Kelci were able to spend more time with one another on the Schulz Family cruise where Chelsea captured a video of Dustin and Kelci’s engagement proposal! THEN just this past Christmas, Josh proposed to Chelsea and made it official themselves! Kelci is extremely thrilled that she and Chelsea are now sister-in-laws to be!
Bridesmaid
Cirila and Kelci met in 2019 when she was hired to be a Client Service Representative at the same animal hospital that Kelci was working at as a Veterinary Nurse. Cirila and Kelci immediately bonded over their love for a band called The Amity Affliction. They would often play their music during closing hours and eventually made plans to go see them in concert together! Cirila and Kelci also bonded over their love of dachshunds! Frankie, Kelci and Dustin’s 7 year old miniature long-haired dachshund, would often come to work with Kelci and very quickly won the hearts of everyone! Cirila loved Frankie so much so, that she ended up getting not one, but TWO dachshunds herself! When Kelci left for veterinary school in 2021, Cirila never failed to maintain that close friendship with her. They would often video chat or text with one another to keep updates on each other’s lives. Cirila also served as a great listening ear to Kelci when some days were harder than others. Additionally, when Kelci would come back home during holiday breaks, her and Cirila would always set time aside to spend girl time together!
Bridesmaid
Kelci and Laurel met in 2023 when Kelci was visiting her friends and family while on holiday break during school. Laurel is a Licensed Veterinary Nurse in the surgical department at the same ER & Specialty animal hospital that Dustin works at. It felt as though she had known Laurel her whole life! Since being back home permanently, Kelci, Dustin, Laurel, and Brett have gone on several double dates together and have had the opportunity to try many new things! They have experienced their first DnD game together, went to a hockey game in Tahoe, tried new restaurants, went to the Reno Dragon Lights festival, attended holiday parties, and so much more! Kelci finds so much joy when she gets to hang out and spend time with Laurel as she brings so much fun, laughter, and positivity to Kelci’s life!
Bridesmaid
Sabrina and Kelci met in 2019 when they both worked as Veterinary Nurses at a small Veterinary Clinic in Reno, NV. Sabrina and Kelci bonded right away! Sabrina was a Licensed Veterinary Nurse while Kelci was still in training during that time. Sabrina taught Kelci many new skillsets involved in veterinary nursing that she ultimately took to veterinary school with her! Kelci still practices these skills even as a Veterinarian. Sabrina and Kelci experienced many firsts together during the couple years they worked with one another. Some of these include, but are not limited to: learning to work curb side during Covid, making TikTok videos, learning to use a drill (because neither of them knew how!), experiencing a pole exercise class, having Kelci try Sabrina’s vegan snacks, occasional play dates with their dogs, and many more! Eventually, Kelci moved to Arizona to attend school and Sabrina moved to Washington to start a new life with her new husband! Though they went their separate ways, they never lost touch. When Sabrina travels to Reno to visit, she always makes time to hang out with Kelci and the rest of their group of friends! Sabrina and her husband plan to back to Reno, NV soon and Kelci cannot wait!

Groom
Dustin was born and raised in Ellicott City, MD. He was raised by his wonderful and loving parents, Mike and Sharon and grew up with his younger brother, Joshua. Dustin developed a love for music at a very young age. Dustin spent several years teaching himself how to play various instruments. Some of which include, but are not limited to: drums, guitar, keyboard, and bass. At the age of 15, Dustin met Brandon (aka Ruth) while working at a local restaurant in Historic Ellicott City. They very quickly bonded over their love for Mötley Crüe and various other bands, that they decided to start a band of their own. Ruth was the one who branded Dustin his very famous nickname, Chainsaw. Chainsaw was originally the drummer for their band, Sin 4 Sin, then eventually became the bass player and back up vocals. Ruth was their lead vocalist, Chuck was on guitar and back up vocals, Billy on guitar, and Cody on drums. All of which are his groomsmen! He played in Sin 4 Sin for several years performing in shows up and down the East Coast as well as playing with national acts before moving across the country to Reno, NV to start a new life! Dustin decided to give the veterinary field a try when he applied for a position at a local animal hospital in 2014. The same hospital where he met Kelci. Here are some of Dustin’s favorite things: - Dachshunds - Stephen King - Heavy Metal - Anime - Dungeons and Dragons - Yuengling Beer - Video Games - Kayaking - Mountain Biking
Best Man
Chainsaw and Ruth (Dustin & Brandon) met in the summer of 2004 after Dustin had started his first day at Cacao Lane Restaurant as a dishwasher. The day was hot and the first task he was assigned was to haul 12 buckets of ice up 3 stories to the infamous Deck Bar to a guy named Ruth. When asked who was this Ruth guy, the common answer was, “You can’t miss him”. Following the sounds of Def Leppard blaring through the stereo and discovering the college bartender wearing a cut off Mötley Crüe shirt, Dustin realized he was also wearing a cut off Mötley Crüe shirt. Dustin nervously introduced himself but it didn’t really matter, because Ruth had said, “You’re Chainsaw now”, and the rest was history. They went on to be thick as thieves and had the best times of their lives over the next 10 years at Cacao Lane getting into all sorts of trouble. Shortly after meeting, they formed Sin 4 Sin that both of them poured their heart and soul into. The two formed an unbreakable bond over the years through mischief and music. It’s also been said by Ruth’s wife and Chainsaw’s good friend, Una that they “fight and bicker like an old married couple”. But boys will be boys and it was rare that they weren’t seen together laughing at some inside joke only they were in on. Today, Ruth has two beautiful children named Lane and Maya, with his wife Una. Chainsaw was by Ruth’s side on their wedding day and now it’s time for Ruth to be by Chainsaw’s side once more.
Groomsman
Billy had only ever knew Dustin as Chainsaw. They met in the early days of forming the band and had what most young and starving musicians did not…financial stability. Billy soon adopted the status of “Band Dad” and was able to be an enormous contribution to the band on and off the stage. Their adventures and shenanigans have taken them all over the country from Texas to New Orleans to New York. Everywhere Billy and Chainsaw went, memories were made and most likely forgotten. Whiskey was a common side effect of hanging around the two. Like Chainsaw, Billy’s real last name remains unknown. We had sarcastically given him the stage name Billy “Williams” because we thought it would be funny. To this day, we are all still laughing about it.

Brett and Dustin met shortly after Dustin started working at BluePearl. Laurel, a bridesmaid of the bride, had known that her husband, Brett and Dustin were almost so alike that there was no room for doubt that the two would become instant friends. Just like the scene from the great American cinematic classic, “Step Brothers”, as soon as Brett and Dustin met, they immediately starting listing off all the things they had in common and already started clearing out space to do karate in the garage. Dustin grew up working in a restaurant, and Brett also grew up working in a restaurant. For anyone who has not worked in the service industry, it is something equivalent to old Army buddies having mutual respect and instant bonding foundations. Brett and Dustin were very much kindred spirits and after hanging out for the first few times, it felt like they had been hanging out together for years and years. Often enough, the two were drinking beers and swapping stories late into the night whilst Kelci and Laurel would be tapping their toes wondering when their boys were coming home. To anyone who meets Brett will shortly realize that he is one of the most wholesome and kind hearted people you could ever meet. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and will show up at the drop of a dime to lend a hand no matter where or when. Dustin is truly lucky to have met and to be able to ride into battle with a bro like Brett.

Dustin met Chuck in 2003 through Tae Kwon Do. They were both in middle school and became fast friends on & off the mats. After 4 years of blood, sweat, and black belts, the boys went their separate ways for a short while. A few years later, the two reconnected when Sin4Sin needed a guitar player who not only could shred till he’s dead but look good doing it. He called up Chuck and asked if he could come jam with him and Ruth. Within minutes of playing together they all knew this was the blossom of the seed that was the early days of Sin4Sin. Chuck and Chainsaw, or popularly referred to as ChuckSaw, always knew how to have fun to the max. The music the two wrote together transformed Sin4Sin into a powerhouse of party rock & roll and cemented their friendship into a lifelong brotherhood. The two often fought like brothers as well. After years of dominating the stages of Baltimore, ChuckSaw decided they were going to show the West how to really party and lived in CA for a time. The boys grew into men fast after being so far away from home and eventually carved their own paths that took them elsewhere. Chuck journeyed to the coasts of FL and has collected quite the unique resumé from a swashbuckling pirate to a Cyber Security Analyst. Chuck and Chainsaw talk & laugh at each other every single day and have made great efforts to remind each other that no matter how far apart they are, they will always be as close as brothers.

Cody had hit the local music scene in Baltimore with his band Defiant Calibur right around the time Sin4Sin was gaining traction in the city. The young Buck had displayed incredible talent on the drums for such a young age that it was hard for Chainsaw and the band to ignore. Shortly after Cody was in the Baltimore circuit, the time came for Sin4Sin to upgrade and recruited Cody. Cody is the kind of guy that you meet and instantly love everything about the guy. He will give you the shirt off his back and is always there for his friends. It was very common for Cody and Chainsaw to switch instruments during band rehearsals for fun. Cody brought the thunder when it came time to record his drums and ever since the first rehearsal, the boys looked at each other and they knew they had finally found our final line up. Cody jumped right in and the band hit the road up and down the East coast drinking Natty Bohs and yelling “Let’s Go O’s”. Cody’s talent behind the drum kit only grew and eventually became widely known that he is a force to be reckoned with. He later started a Top-40 cover band that plays consistently and successfully. Even though Cody and Chainsaw haven’t played together in a few years, Cody can still hear Chainsaw’s voice in his head yelling, “Faster, Faster!”

Like all people who have spent time working in restaurants, your government name gets replaced with a fun nickname. After a few months of hauling ice buckets up the decks to Ruth, he had a new coworker to train and show the ropes to. That guy was Mike, but like Chainsaw, soon had his own nickname given to him. He was given the title as The Yellow Dart, aka Dart for short. They laughed at how ridiculously sarcastic it was and how it would NEVER stick or work. It turns out, almost everyone for the next 15 years would never know Dart’s real name. Dart and Chainsaw became an inseparable duo in the restaurant Cacao Lane, growing from dishwashers, to cooks, to servers, and whatever job the restaurant had to offer. They became roommates and lived together for years, never getting tired of each other and always finding solace in just being together. Whether it was drinking beers by the river, getting their asses kicked in the kitchen on Mother’s Day Brunch, or wondering how they were getting home after Last Call at the Phoenix Tavern, they were always having a blast waiting for the next adventure. Shortly after Chainsaw left the restaurant, Dart quickly took over the role as Executive Chef and has been solidifying his career in culinary arts ever since. In the hearts of Dart and Chainsaw, you can find that you can take the boys outta the kitchen, but you can’t take the kitchen outta the boys. To this day, Dustin refuses to acknowledge Dart as anyone else but Dart.

Josh and Dustin met early on in their lives when Josh moved in with Dustin in the spring of 1992. Dustin had never had a roommate prior to that and it would take almost 18 years of adjustment for them. The reason it took an entire generation is because the two are brothers. The term “brotherly love” was occasionally lost among the two as their parents often found them with black eyes and bloody lips from boxing each other in the basement or practicing wrestling moves after bedtime off the bunk beds. The boys grew up playing sports together, breaking bones together, and getting stitches in the ER on many a snow day in Maryland. Anybody who grew up with the Schulz brothers would tell you they could not be more opposite. Josh stayed out of trouble and received good grades. Dustin would change his D’s into B’s on his report cards and denied any sort of tampering when his parents would catch him in the act. Josh tucked in his shirt and wore his collared shirts to church, whilst Dustin was spiking his hair and wearing some sort of blasphemous clothing to upset the priest and embarrass his family. The boys went their separate ways when Dustin moved out on his own shortly after his 18th birthday and Josh ventured on to UNR. The two remained close and lived together for several years later and to their parents surprise, got along famously without fist fights or choke holds. The Schulz boys have grown extremely close over the years and even got engaged within the same year!

Scott is Dustin’s first cousin and the two families spent many holidays and occasions together. Scott’s mom, Nancy is also Dustin’s Godmother. Scott’s older brother, Robert was always a black sheep just like Dustin was growing up. Ironically, similar to Dustin and Josh, Scott and Robert grew up polar opposites of each other. From a very early age, Scott and Dustin were quite the dare devils when it came to recreation during family trips. You can count on the two always being in the front row of EVERY rollercoaster at every amusement park they visited. Scott later went on to attend UNR and settled into Reno just like most of the extended Schulz family did. He worked at the Nugget casino as most nephews and nieces did, and rode dirt bikes throughout the canyons of Reno and Sparks with all the cousins. Dustin would always bunk with Scott whenever he would be visiting in Reno and would spend most nights staying up late playing Halo 2. Everyone in the family would agree that Scotty is the glue that keeps the big family together. He is always visiting, always giving, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He makes all of the rounds every Thanksgiving and does the same lap every Christmas morning without skipping a beat all year in between. Every family should have a Scott to remind us just how important family truly is.
