We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than September 18, 2021. To RSVP, please do so here on our wedding website* (click on the RSVP tab). *If for some reason you are unable to complete the RSVP online, you may instead contact Dustin at 816-529-6083.
While we love children (especially yours!), we are only able to accommodate kiddos of immediate** family members and members of the wedding party at our venue. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to celebrate with us on our big day and enjoy having the evening off! To our guests coming from out-of-town, if you need help finding child care arrangements please contact us and we will do our best to assist. [**Immediate family members = siblings of the bride/groom]
Before we provide links to local walk-in clinics that provide rapid COVID testing, here are some additional helpful tidbits: - Please keep in mind some testing sites are by appointment while others offer testing on a walk-in basis, so plan accordingly! - COVID testing is generally free for the person having the test done, but you should still bring your insurance card with you. - Even if you are coming from out of state/out of town, you can still obtain a COVID test (at least from Walgreens) https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing [by appointment only; can be scheduled online at MinuteClinic.com] https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/covid19/testing?ban=covid_vanity_testing https://doineedacovid19test.com/ https://health.mo.gov/living/healthcondiseases/communicable/novel-coronavirus/community-test.php#testing https://jacohd.org/all-events/category/testing-clinics/
If you have not been vaccinated for COVID, you must be able to provide proof of a negative COVID test that was completed within 24 hours (no more than 48 hours) prior to our wedding celebration. If you are already vaccinated but are exposed to someone else who has recently tested positive for COVID, or if you are experiencing any symptoms, we ask that you also obtain a COVID test.
Available types of COVID testing will vary depending on where you go. Generally, the rapid antigen/point-of-care test is preferred for our purposes, and provides the fastest results. These tests imply current viral infection and help determine if an individual is actively infected with COVID-19 and can spread it to others. A follow-up diagnostic test may be required to confirm a positive result.
If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you. (Also note that when you RSVP online it will show whether or not there is a plus one attached with your invite)
Please plan to arrive around 15-20 minutes before the ceremony to make sure you have plenty of time to find parking (if applicable) and your seat!
If you have a food allergy/dietary restriction, please contact either Dustin or Jordyn.
This is a celebration, so wear something nice! In terms of a dress code, think "semi-formal" or "cocktail" attire.
