Getting to Telluride

Montrose-Telluride Regional Airport (MTJ) is the primary airport for getting to Telluride; it is a 1.5 hour drive from Montrose to Telluride. American, United, Delta, and Southwest Airlines all provide service to MTJ. Other Regional Airport options include: Telluride Regional Airport (TEX) - Just six miles west of Telluride, in San Miguel County, Colorado. This is the closest regional airport, connecting primarily through Denver International Airport. Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) - 2.5 hours from Telluride Durango-La Plata Regional Airport (DRO) - 2.5 hours from Telluride Denver International Airport- 6.5 hours from Telluride

Transportation

For those that are flying, you have the option of renting a car at one of the Regional Airports or alternatively, a Shuttle service to Telluride is available by reservation and costs around $150 per-person for a round-trip ticket. Once you arrive, Telluride and Mountain Village is 100% walkable! Most hotels have a shuttle service, and Mountain Village has a free "Dial-A-Ride" service daily between 6:30AM and midnight. To book a ride, you can call 970-728-8888. Whether you're planning to stay in Mountain Village or Downtown Telluride, there is a free Gondola that runs between both towns. This is what you will take to get to our Ceremony site. If you decide to rent a car, please keep in mind that there is limited parking in Telluride and some hotels may require you to valet your vehicle.
