Salmon Creek State Beach
Salmon Creek is a classic Northern California Beach in Bodega Bay. (So cold and grey, which we love for some reason.) Dustin spent a lot of his childhood in Bodega Bay with his grandmother Nancy, so it holds a special place in his heart.
Korbel Winery
There's a lot of fabulous wine tasting in Sonoma County, but we also have the famous Korbel Champagne. (The redwoods in this area are gorgeous too!)
Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center
Charles Schultz (creator of the Peanuts Comics) is one of Santa Rosa's most famous residents. You'll see references to him all over town, but you can also check out his museum, close to his ice skating rink.
Russian River Brewing Company
Russian River Brewing company, home of the infamous Pliny the Elder and Pliny the younger. Sonoma County ubiquitous to beer as it is to wine. This is a great place to start.
Howarth Park
Laney was basically raised at Howarth Park. Playground, petting zoo, carousel, train, pony rides, boat rentals, and picnic/bbq facilities are all available here.
