Our Story
Kennedy and Dustin met at a young professionals’ after-church lunch at Chuy’s. Kennedy noticed the new guy across the table watching the Masters. What she didn’t know was Dustin had already seen her months earlier on a dating app—and when he walked in that day he thought, “Oh my gosh, that’s the girl from Hinge who never liked me back.” (Kennedy never even saw it!)
For months they were simply friends, sharing great conversations and somehow always sitting next to each other at those lunches.
Then in July 2025, Dustin volunteered to drive the van for a youth trip to Camp of the Hills. Between serving at camp, sharing Advil Liqui-Gels, and listening to music through one pair of AirPods while cleaning the kitchen, something shifted.
They went on their first date a few weeks later, and it quickly became clear God’s timing had been at work all along.
