Parsons, KS is where Kat's grandfather lives. Dustin also grew up in Southeast KS (Independence, KS). Parsons is a location closer to Dustin's family and meaningful to Kathryn's family.
YES- you get a plus one! YES- we want your kids to come! Just make sure when you let the Bride know you are coming you let us know how many from your family can attend so we can update vendors of estimated guests.
This is an outdoor wedding and there is not an indoor venue. We appreciate guests being prepared for whatever weather is present on our special day.
In an attempt to cut down on waste, as well as saving time all information is provided through this website and the facebook event invitation.
We genuinely do not want any presents other than your presence. By having no gifts it allows us to invite more people without burdening others with buying a gift, and allows you to spend money on transportation out of town to our wedding. Also, have you seen our home? It is TINY, we do not need more things. So thank you for considering coming to celebrate with us, that is the best gift of all.
Please (if your travel plans allow) bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs so you can best enjoy the arboretum. We will provide food and drink for brunch!
The most important thing is to dress for the weather as this is an outdoor only venue. While this bride and groom will be dressed formally, guests are invited to dress however they will be most comfortable. If that is more formally, please consider bringing a change of clothes for later in the day as there will be yard games available to play. Shoes should be appropriate for walking in grass.
