Question

Where is your wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa Country Club. Guests will arrive to the parking lot of the Barton Creek Country Club between 4:15 and 4:45 and be shuttled to “The Rock House” where the ceremony will take place. Everyone will then be shuttled by hotel staff back to the Barton Creek Country Club to the Palm Court for cocktail hour followed by dinner, dancing, and cake in the Governor’s Ballroom.

How do we get to The Rock House?

Answer

There will be a shuttle available from the parking lot to The Rock House prior to the start of the ceremony. Please take the first left after pulling on to Barton Club Drive and enjoy our complementary valet parking.

What time is this shindig starting?

Answer

5 PM sharply! We recommend arriving at 4:45 at the latest so you can catch the shuttle down to the ceremony site. Shuttles will begin taking guests as early as 4:15.

Why get married in Austin?

Answer

We love to come to Austin on dates, to see shows, and for an all around good time. Also, we felt that it is a happy middle ground for our family and friends in San Antonio and Houston.

What will we have for dinner that night?

Answer

Dinner will be a 3 course, sit down meal. You will have a choice of lamb chops with root vegetables (land option), salmon with garlic and chive mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts (sea option), or a very tasty parmesan risotto (vegetarian option)!! If you have any dietary restrictions (i.e. vegetarian, gluten free, peanut allergies) please let us know prior to the event and our chef will be happy to accommodate. Also, children under the age of 13 will be served chicken tenders and french fries.. nom nom!!!

What is the attire for your event?

Answer

The bride and groom are requesting that guests wear cocktail attire for their wedding, our dad’s are wearing tuxedos! 🤵🏼🤵🏻

Is there going to be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, nonalcoholic beverages will be available at the bar as well.

How will parking be at the hotel?

Answer

There will be complementary valet parking in front of the Barton Creek Country Club, please take the first entrance on your left after turning onto Barton Club Drive.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, you can bring them at your discretion. Please be advised that the reception is catered towards adults. Dinner will consist of a sit down, three course meal, and any children under the age of 13 will receive chicken tenders and French fries! Yummy! 😋
