Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before October 12, 2024. You can mail back the card enclosed in your invitation or simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.

Can I bring a plus one / are kids welcome?

Answer

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. Those invited will be listed on your invitation.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get our ceremony started as scheduled! Our ceremony will begin promptly at 1 p.m. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to allow yourself enough time to be seated before the beginning of the ceremony.

What should I wear?

Answer

Think dresses, a suit and tie, or a sports coat. Please avoid wearing jeans.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place indoors at St. Patrick Catholic Church of Merna. The cocktail hour and reception will be taking place indoors at The Hesed House Venue. Depending on the weather, the patio at The Hesed House Venue may be open for guests during the cocktail hour.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures in the church and at the reception venue. We invite everybody to the cocktail hour from 5-6 p.m., followed by our reception from 6-11 p.m. We recommend checking into your hotel and/or stopping by one of our favorite places listed in the "Things To Do" tab!

Where should guests park?

Answer

There are parking spaces available at The Hesed House Venue and vehicles can be left overnight to ensure our guests' safety. Please see the "Schedule" tab for directions to the venue.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have blocks at the Holiday Inn & Suites Bloomington Airport and the Hampton Inn & Suites Bloomington-Normal to allow our guests to choose which accommodations suit them the best! Please see the "Travel" section for more information.
