We met when my Grampa was in hospice care in the hospital. Jordyn was assigned to him as his nurse. A few weeks after he passed away, I worked up the courage to ask Jordyn out. And out of one of the worst experiences of my life, I came away with the best gift I've ever received. We will always firmly believe that my Grampa was the ultimate wingman, and that we were his last gift to each other. - Matt

Since I was off of work for the weekend, and it looked like a nice day we decided to head up to Talcott Mountain. When we reached the top of the mountain, what had started as a cold clear day, turned into a blizzard of light snowflakes. We had reached the pavilion overlooking the edge of the mountain and sat for a few minutes. I snapped one last picture of the two of us before hopping off of the picnic table to start our trip back down the mountain. I turned back to Matt and he was on his knee with the ring looking up at me. I muttered "Are you serious!? Right now!?" out of surprise, before he had the chance to speak. But once he did I was beyond happy and so excited he picked this moment to ask! On our way down the mountain, I just wanted to wave to each person passing to show off my beautiful ring and let them know we were engaged! - Jordyn
