Visas
Unless you have an ECOWAS passport, you will be needing a visitor's visa to enter Nigeria. We highly advise visiting the website of and contacting the Nigerian High Commission in the country you reside for confirmation of applicable visa and visa requirements. Letter of invitation will be provided by us on request. Our top visa tip is to ensure that you have a healthy three month bank statement prior to the date of your visa application.

Nigeria recently implemented a new e-visa system. Please visit the website for more details. We have heard mixed reviews online about the e-visa system. Please do contact the Nigerian High Commission in your country of residence and try and get a sticker visa before using this service.

International bank cards hardly work in Nigeria. We recommend that you bring your spending money in US dollars and change it to Nigerian Naira. You can also use apps like Worldremit and Lemfi to make transfer payments directly to the establishment you want to pay to.
