Greg met Jordan in third grade. Competition sums up these two best. They have always pushed one another in just about anything they do. Neither one wanted to lose or be the one to quit first. This helped push both of them to play college football, have a strong work ethic, and push each other throughout life. Greg was lucky to be Jordan's best man in his wedding.

Christa met Courtney during college as a sorority sister. They became college roommates and have been inseparable ever since. Christa was fortunate to be maid of honor in Courtney's September wedding. Courtney is the epitome of a best friend. You can tell her anything. She's always there for you when you need her. Plus, she gives the best advice!

Matt was Greg's neighbor growing up. They have always bonded over sports, video games, and spontaneous trips. Greg was fortunate to be a groomsman in Matt's wedding.

Ellie is the youngest sibling in Greg's sweet family. Christa and Greg are both thrilled to have Ellie be a part of their special day.

Nate was Greg's first roommate in college. They both played football at Carthage and have remained very close since. Greg was lucky to be Nate's best man in his wedding.

Jenna and Courtney met in college as sorority sisters. Christa was fortunate to be a bridesmaid in Jenna's wedding. Jenna is an absolute rock of loyalty. Jenna and her husband's families have always welcomed Christa to any family event. Jenna has two beautiful girls and sets the example for how to live a full life as a teacher, mother, wife, and friend.

Tyler is the brother of the Bride. Usually when Greg and Tyler are together, it involves acting out a scene for Tyler's son, Nikoli, talking about gardening or trying to figure out how to grow grass in their yards. Greg is very excited to have Tyler become his brother-in-law.

Christa and Sara met while teaching together in Liberty, Missouri. Sara and Christa both moved onto different paths but it feels like no time has passed when they are together. Sara is a true friend that can be counted on to bring fun wherever she goes.

Bruce has always been an important person in Christa's life. He kissed her on the forehead every morning before leaving for work and always said I love you. He's a reliable, wise, source of support. Greg and Christa are beyond thankful for his unwavering love and guidance.

When they talk about Grandma's cooking, they are always talking about Grandma Shirley. You are always excited to go to Grandma's because you know there is going to be good food. When Shirley isn't cooking up some good food, she would always have Greg playing a card game with her and Don would be catching up with what all was going on in Greg’s life.

Don's hard working nature and knowledge of how to fix things and keep them working well has been a great resource for Greg. His resourcefulness and his willingness to teach meaningful skills has given Greg many long-lasting skills.

Greg's love of sports really comes from his grandfather, Tracy. He took Greg to his first professional baseball game when his youth baseball team went to a White Sox game growing up. (He still has the ticket.) He is a big sports memorbilia collector and often took Greg to card collector shops.

Greg and his grandmother, Kathy, often had to be separated at the dinner table for causing too much mischief. Together, they were always trouble. Greg and Kathy have always been very close because of their fun-loving spirits.

As a former crew chief of a B-17 bomber in the Korean War, Darrel's love of airplanes, military history, and tinkering in a workshop rubbed off on Greg as he grew up.

Greg has always enjoyed Roberta's curiosity, love of history, and travel. Many conversations would involve looking at places from around the world and discussing their beauty or historical importance.

Barbara is commonly referred to as "Gram". She is a pillar of the Jessup family. Christa will never forget all of the craft and painting projects together. Gram sets the highest example for caring for others in the community. Plus, she makes the absolute best broccoli and cheese casserole.

Nikoli is the bride's nephew. Nikoli is four years old and full of energy. Greg and Christa are looking forward to having both Tyler and Nikoli in the wedding.
