One of our favorite spots to drink a few cold ones and watch football. Also a great late-night spot! Uncle Mark Dunlap approved.
Big fans of the IPAs & Golden Tee at this new brewery! Fun fact, you can see Jaime Pressley's house from the parking lot.
Locals know the best bar in town is behind a deli counter next to the famous Sanitary Fish Market. Waterfront views and awesome painkillers!
Awesome local spot with great pizza. Sounds strange, but the "Salad Pizza" is an Allyson & Sue Dunlap favorite. Matt and Steve go for the Carnivore pizza.
The ultimate old-school diner is sure to cure your hangover.
The best shrimp burgers ever. Believe us, we have tried all of them! We don't visit the beach without stopping here for the drive home. We even bring our own aluminum foil to keep them warm for the drive.
A great place to visit for history and activity! Fort Macon is a 19th Century Civil War Fort loaded with history. Fort Macon was constructed between 1826-1834. The expansive 389 acre park, which features gorgeous inlet views, fantastic beaches, and plenty of history in plain view around every sand dune, always tops the list of Crystal Coast attractions that can't be missed. Also hosts a fantastic 3-mile walking trail that the Dunlaps (+ Matt) regularly walk.
The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is a great way to spend the day! From river otters to stingrays, sharks, and rare white sea turtles, there are plenty of stunning exhibits to peruse throughout the aquarium.
