We do not have a room block at any hotel. The wedding will take place in Thurmont Maryland and while there are not a lot of hotels super close to the venue, Frederick is a short drive away with lots of hotels. Below are some of my (Julia's) recommendations. Other cities that are a close drive are Gettysburg or Hagerstown but they don't have quite as many hotels as Frederick.
Other options if a hotel is not your thing is to rent a house on a website such as Airbnb or Vrbo. If you know other people attending or are traveling with others then it might help save money to opt for a house rental. There are also a lot of options closer to the venue if you take this route.
