For what to wear to the reception, when we say smart/semi-formal, best thing to do would be to dress like you're going out to have dinner at a nice restaurant. So no jeans, shorts, flipflops, t-shirts, etc. Men in button-down shirts with slacks and women in knee-length or longer dresses are what I (the bride) envision. Do remember that it is in the woods, so sandals or heels are not recommended.
While we would love to have everyone we know attend both events, there is a limited amount of space available for the ceremony, so we'd like to have the ceremony be with only our immediate family and wedding party. But we look forward to seeing everyone immediately after!!
The reception is outdoors with a covered pavilion area available.
Physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you would still like to give us a gift we ask that you contribute to our honeymoon fund or an excursion while we are there.
Due to park safety restrictions, only the people designated on your invitation are invited.
The park is located right off 270. PLEASE USE THE ADDRESS ON THE INVITE AND NOT MAPS APPS. There are two main addresses for this park and location 10 miles away from each other. The picnic area is location in the Manor Area of the park, not the main address. When you pull into the park, driving straight back until you reach a large parking lot is the best way to get there. There is plenty of parking available and there will be signs directing you where to go.
