FAQs

Question

What altitude will we be at?

Answer

Steamboat Springs is at 6,695 feet above sea level, and Thunderhead Lodge where the ceremony will be is at 9,080 feet. The best way to prep for altitude is to hydrate aggressively the week before you come out. While at altitude, take it slow if you feel lightheaded or sick. Canned oxygen can be a quick way to get relief if you need it. There are staff onsite that can help you if the altitude affects you negatively.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We request that you dress in formal attire for the wedding reception and ceremony. This includes suit and tie for men (tuxedos are welcome, but not required), and gowns for women. Weather permitting, the reception and cocktail hour will be held outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We kindly request an adults-only celebration. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have questions on this!

Answer
