Wedding Party

Kirsten Lindner

Bride

A wiccan for over 15 years, Kirsten has always believed in magic. While going through crisis and upheaval during the covid pandemic of 2020, her life fell apart. But through that crisis she met and developed a relationship with Duncan that helped lift her up and allowed her to find her footing again. She feels incredibly lucky to have met him and his wonderful, silly son. After over 5 years of dating, she's excited to be getting married again to the love of her life.

Duncan Kane

Groom

A Welsh native, Duncan moved to the States at the tender age of 19 to marry his first wife. Though their relationship did not end up being endgame, their son Bruce is a blessing to Duncan and his soon to be new wife. After some casual dating, he came across Kirsten and his world changed. He found a desire to better himself and his situation, and settled into a new life with his soon to be wife. In January of 2025 he proposed to Kirsten and he couldn't be happier to be marrying the woman he loves.

Allison Rael

Best Woman

Alli has been friends with Kirsten for nearly 20 full years, after their fateful meeting at writing nerd camp. Through many life stages and changes, she has stood by Kirsten's side. Through happiness and tragedy, there has been no one that Kirsten has felt more safe with and loved by. They are ride or die partners, and no amount of distance between them has ever dampened their relationship or their love for each other. Kirsten loves to say that Alli is her platonic soulmate. Officially her title is Best Woman because that is exactly what she is!

Monika Goff

Officiant

Cousin Monika, as Kirsten lovingly calls her, is the kind of family you've known your whole life despite not being blood related. Having beautifully officiated her first wedding, Monika is thrilled to be officiating Kirsten's wedding to her forever person.

Freya Kane

Handfasting Cord Bearer

As a Wiccan, part of the ceremony will involve a handfasting, which is where a ceremonial custom woven cord will be used to tie the bride and groom's hands together. This important spiritual item is kept safe, presented, and tied, by a handfasting cord bearer. Duncan's baby sister Freya has graciously agreed to bear and tie our cord, symbolizing the advent of our new familial subunit.
