Shuttle
Shuttle to the Ceremony
September 26, 2020 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
A shuttle will be running from downtown Elk Rapids every 15 minutes or so starting at 2:30p. The shuttle will pick up in front of American House (the reception location) and take guests directly to the Moyer's house. The last shuttle will pick up at 3:45p. After the ceremony, the shuttle will take guests back to American House for the reception.
Flight
TVC
The closest airport is TVC (Traverse City, MI). It's about a (dreamy) 30 minute car ride to Elk Rapids, MI. GRR (Grand Rapids) is about a 3 hour drive, and DTW (Detroit) is about a 4 hour drive.

This isn't the big city, folks! Public transit and Uber/Lyft are limited in Northern Michigan. We recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay. Better yet, coordinate with others to share!

There are several reasonable Airbnb rentals conveniently located in downtown Elk Rapids (some are *stumbling/walking* we don't judge, distance from the reception location). We HIGHLY recommend booking one of these. Most are large enough for several people if you can coordinate with others! *Traverse City has a lot more lodging options, but is about 30 minutes away. Uber/Lyft is limited in Northern Michigan, so plan accordingly!

The Grand Traverse Resort is about 20 minutes away from downtown Elk Rapids. Pro tip: grab a drink and take in the view at their restaurant on the 16th floor, it's well worth the view of the bay(s)! *Traverse City has a lot more lodging options, but is about 30 minutes away. Uber/Lyft is limited in Northern Michigan, so plan accordingly!
