Yes. We aren't messin' around with our loved ones! We can't believe we are still having to work around the COVID-19 pandemic, but we want to ensure everyone's safety. If you aren't able to attend, we completely understand and we look forward to celebrating with you at another time!
Sure did, and it's all COVID-19's fault. We don't know about you, but we plan to cut loose on the dance floor during the reception and the thought of gettin' our groove on with masks seemed... unappealing (though, PLEASE feel free to wear a mask if that makes you more comfortable). We want our guests to feel comfortable, relax and have a good time- which is not the overall ~vibe~ of 2020, so we figured we'd cut our losses and try again in 2021! There are still a few details we are confirming/working out, so please check back for changes! Please feel free to text or call us; we'd also love to hear from you!
The Moyers live on a small road, where parking is extremely limited. Please park downtown Elk Rapids, close to the reception, and take advantage of the shuttle that will run every 15-20 minutes or so. It will take you directly to the Moyer's. Once the ceremony is over, it will bring guests back to downtown Elk Rapids There will not be a shuttle service offered after the reception, so please plan accordingly! Uber/Lyft can be limited, but there are several taxi services in town (that will require advanced planning). Please check out our "Travel" page to take a peek at some of the accommodations in Elk Rapids, some are just a quick walk from the reception!
