We have a private reservation of Tropical Hotel for the weekend and we hope you’ll consider staying with us. In addition to being the site of our welcome reception the day prior and shuttle departure the day of, you'll be sure to find us at the hotel pool and nearby beach between events. Getting There
Getting to St. Barthélemy (SBH) There are a few ways to reach St. Barths—please read carefully and contact Ciena@libertystbarth.com with any questions. We recommend booking your flight to St. Martin (SXM) or San Juan (SJU) separately from your final flight to St. Barths (SBH). For example, do not enter SBH into Google Flights, but rather enter SJO or SXM and book your flight to SBH via one of the carriers directly below. 💡 Pro Tip: Work backwards from your SBH flight when booking your first leg to ensure enough time between connections. ⸻ ✈️ OPTION 1: Fly via St. Martin (SXM) • Fly into Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) • Then take a 15-minute flight to SBH via Winair or St. Barth Commuter • Leave at least 1 hour between your arrival in SXM and your connecting flight LA Travelers please note: taking a red eye into SXM is the best and sometimes only option in order to make connecting flights. *TIP: you are not checking a bag and have your boarding passes at SXM, you can skip the line and go right through to security which saves a ton of time during transfers* 🛥 Ferry Option from St. Martin • If you’d prefer a scenic (and more budget-friendly) route, take a ferry via Great Bay Express or Voyager • Taxi/shuttle rides are available from SXM to the ferry dock • Allow at least 2 hours between landing in SXM and your ferry time • Not recommended if you’re prone to seasickness ⸻ ✈️ OPTION 2: Fly via San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) • Fly into San Juan (SJU) • Then take a 50-minute flight to SBH via TradeWinds Aviation • This route is especially convenient for travelers from the Midwest or East Coast but might be a bit more pricey than flying through SXM ✨ VIP Transfers Want to speed up your customs and baggage process in SXM? We recommend choosing a smaller car to rent as we find it is easiest to drive when navigating the steeper hills of the island.
