FAQs

If you have any additional questions not answered here, please email our day-of-coordinator, Davi, at davi@foodzcatering.com
Question

Do I need a negative COVID test?

Answer

If you are not already fully vaccinated, please sign up for your free shot! If you are not able to be fully vaccinated prior to our wedding, for the safety of our families and friends, please take a COVID test and receive a negative result as close to the date of our wedding as possible. Please do not attend if you have COVID symptoms.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Substitutions and additions are not permitted. Please feel free to e-mail our wedding coordinator davi@foodzcatering.com with any questions!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We hope our wedding will be a fun excuse to dress up and wear your favorite semi-formal attire! We request our guests wear a cocktail dress or gown for the ladies and a suit and tie or a sport coat for the gents. Depending on local rules, face masks may be required for guests when not eating or drinking. We request guests who are not vaccinated wear a mask regardless of local rules to ensure a safe and fun celebration.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Because our guests will be spread out at many hotels and there is not parking available for a large vehicle to drop off guests we will not be providing transportation to the venue. Please consider Lyft/Uber/taxi or walk if you're comfortable walking in a big city. For added safety given our city venue setting we recommend guests take Lyft/Uber/taxis back to their hotels at the end of the reception.

Question

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Parking is available in the area but due to our downtown location is not reserved. There are 3 less expensive open air pay lots within a 1 minute walk of Block 41, including 1 lot in the alley, 1 lot in the alley across the street and another lot 1 block away on 1st Avenue. Best garage parking option is 2323 Elliott Avenue (Bell Street Pier Garage #28). We encourage you to Uber/Lyft/Taxi to the venue due to limited parking and challenging street parking in downtown Seattle.
