Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Eva Duleba and Kyle Williams
We know there are many of you taking the time out of your lives to travel, from neighboring areas and states to as far as out of the country, all for our little celebration. We want to make sure you get the most out of your time in the lovely Seattle area, so we've taken it upon ourselves to find some activities and locations to explore. Hopefully something on this list catches your eye and leads to a new adventure. Have fun!
Seattle Art Museum

Seattle Art Museum

1300 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA 98101

Eva and I spent a lovely afternoon here checking out an up and coming artist. His name is Amoako Boafo and though his art isn't there anymore, he's definitely worth looking into. We're not sure what will be displayed around the time of our party but, who ever it is, will no doubt be fantastic.

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

1531 Western Ave, Seattle, WA 98101,

Whether you're a Washington native or visiting for the first time, this iconic nine-acre stretch of market is a must-see when in the area. It's one of Seattle's earliest markets and its most recognizable. From fish to souvenirs, there's not much you can't find at Pike's Place. The address listed is a parking garage that will lead directly to the market. The website has two more entrances that you can use as well. Enjoy!

Tacoma Art Museum

Tacoma Art Museum

1701 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98402

Nestled within the concrete jungle of Tacoma lies a little gem- The Tacoma Art Museum (TAM). With ever-rotating exhibits, theres always something to see. It is a bit of a drive from the location of our BBQ- 26 miles or average of 45 minutes away- but it's well worth the drive. The Museum also butts up against the Historic Tacoma Waterfront and, coincidentally, the worksite of my job! Enjoy the TAM, then walk across the Chihuly Glass Bridge (a beautiful, free exhibit opened to the public at all times) to reach the waterfront where there are boats aplenty, a nice walking path, and some benches to enjoy the view. When you're ready for some food, stop by the Pacific Seafood owned Fish Peddler for some fish and chips or a drink at the bar!

Seattle Pinball Museum

Seattle Pinball Museum

508 Maynard Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98104

Hi guys! We thought it would be fun to add a couple locations near and dear to us, and I chose the Seattle Pinball Museum. I first visited with Eva, her mom, and her cousin, and I had a blast. With pinball machines lining the walls and two levels to explore, there's no shortage of fun here. Play solo or challenge a friend on the newer machines and see who the true pinball wizard is- or take a step back in time and challenge yourself with some of the older machines. Some machines date back to the 60's and their antiquated technology pose a unique challenge for those of us used to modern technology. Wether you're passionate about pinball like me or simply enjoy the simpler novelties in life, you're sure to enjoy this treasure, tucked into a building so unassuming you could walk right by and never know. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop)

Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop)

325 5th Avenue N, Seattle, WA 98109

My pick is MoPop! Ky and I are big fans of museums and this one is a such a fun experience. Not only is the building itself a work of art, MoPop includes exhibits about music and pop culture as well as interactive stations like the Sound Lab. You can make a day of it and visit the nearby Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and Pacific Science Center!
