Hi, guys! We're so excited to finally announce that we're getting married! --- Our story starts in a little brick apartment complex that sat on top of a few stores in a busy neighborhood in the hilltop neighborhood of east Tacoma. We had both recently moved into the building and struck up a friendly conversation over our shared interest in dogs. Having met soon after Ky's arrival from Arizona, we were friendly in passing but, honestly, didn't really talk much for a year. Once that changed, things moved quickly. After three months of dating we moved in together which led to a one bedroom apartment filled with about sixteen animals. When it came time to move we knew renting would be nearly impossible so, like rational adults, we decided to buy a house after dating for six months. We're happy to report the house hunt was successful and now we and our 12 animals (three dogs, three cats, and six snakes but who's counting) can stretch our legs in the comfort of our own space. Things have been non-traditional with the two of us from the start but we wouldn't have it any other way- we both knew from the start that things were going to be different with one another and we were right. Conformity has never been either of our style so we choose to do things in ways that fit our lives and personalities the best. So, keeping in that same fashion, when it came time to get married we decided a big lavish wedding wasn't what we wanted and opted for a courthouse wedding in it's stead. Now, we're very, very excited to invite all of you to come celebrate the sweet little life we've carved out for ourselves by joining us for our reception BBQ.
