We're Getting Married!

We met online in December of 2017, and agreed pretty quickly to attend a Devils game together, and bought tickets to a game on December 29th. After realizing we had just committed to going into Newark with a stranger, we agreed to meet up for pizza about a week prior. Clearly, those dates went well.

We spent the month of January 2018 getting to know each other and having dinner with each other's parents. On January 29, I went over to his house for dinner and a movie. He asked me to be his girlfriend that night, and when I opened the door to go home that night, snow was falling gently like in a Hallmark movie.

2020 was a hard year for everyone, and we decided we needed a couple days away from it all. We took a weekend trip to the Catskills for some hiking and cideries. On our way into town our first full day there, we pulled over at a scenic overlook to take some photos of the foliage. After rummaging around in his camera bag, Ryan pulled out a beautiful opal ring that he designed himself, and asked me to marry him.
