What is the best way to receive communication regarding the wedding while we are in Italy?

Answer

We'll be using WhatsApp to stay connected while we're in Italy! Please download the app if you don't already have it—we'll create a group chat with all our guests where we'll share important updates, villa details, and everything else you need to know. It's the easiest way for us to keep everyone informed throughout the celebration.

Is it okay if my passport expires less than 90 days after your wedding?

Answer

No! Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned date of departure from Europe (this is the official minimum amount of validity required). It is best practice to renew your passport 6 months before your passport expires. Italy requires two blank pages for passport stamps.

How long does it take to renew or obtain my Passport?

Answer

Passport processing typically takes 4-6 weeks through standard service. If you need yours sooner, expedited service is available and can have your passport ready in 2-3 weeks. For additional passport questions and detailed processing information, visit Travel.state.gov.

Is there an onsite restaurant and bar?

Answer

All meals will be provided throughout our wedding celebrations, with the exception of the optional catered lunch at Villa Ferrano on Saturday, August 8. Beer and wine will be available during our events. Brendan and I love shopping at international food markets and recommend stopping to grab anything specific to eat or drink from a local grocery store before arriving at Villa Ferrano to enjoy during any downtime between events.

What is the local currency in Italy?

Answer

Italy uses the Euro, and you'll find that major credit cards—including contactless payment options—are accepted almost everywhere. We recommend exchanging currency at your local bank before departure or withdrawing Euros directly from an Italian ATM upon arrival for the best exchange rates. While you won't need to carry large amounts of cash, having some local currency on hand is always a smart precaution in case of emergency or issues with a credit card.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Brendan & Sarah have paid for the hotel accommodations. The hotel and all wedding events are located at Villa Ferrano.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Only children who have received a personal invitation from the Bride and Groom are welcome to attend our wedding festivities.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking for the wedding events?

Yes, there will be plenty of on site free parking available at Villa Ferrano.

In case of rain, our ceremony will move indoors to the main floor of Villa Ferraro.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We kindly request no physical gifts, as your presence at our wedding in Italy means everything to us. However, if you'd like to contribute to our future together, we've created digital registry options for our home improvement fund and honeymoon, which you can find under the registry tab on our website.
