We highly recommend staying at the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort as it is a 15 minute drive outside of Golden. There will not be a shuttle that goes into town at this time. The preferred place to stay is the Glacier Mountaineer Lodge which is located at the base of the gondola. There are multiple options for accommodations from hotel style to homes. Please see the section ‘Accommdations’ for discount code.
Yes! Some accommodations have pet deposits available. Please be mindful that the venue is at a mountain resort and can be exposed to other animals. Unfortunately pets cannot attend the ceremony or reception.
Please RVSP as soon as possible so guests can book their accommodations. As this is a mountain resort, the accommodations book very quickly. The RVSP must be made no later than July 1, 2025. Unfortunately no late RVSPs can be accepted 30 days prior to the wedding date due to meal planning. We encourage our guests to RVSP sooner to align with their vacation planning.
The dreaded question of “what do I weaaaaaar?!” First and foremost, be YOU. We want it to be formal, however wear what you are comfortable in. Ladies, heels can be worn, but please be careful on the bridge heading to the ceremony. We will be at high altitude, so the weather can change any moment. Please bring something warm to wear just in case.
Please view your RVSP that will indicate whether a +1 and kids are invited. If they are not listed and we missed them, please message one of us!
The gondola will start loading guests at 5pm at the base. There is only 1 lift so you cannot miss it. ENJOY THE VIEWS as you sore into the sky! The ceremony will be on the Eagle Eye Terrace starting promptly at 5:30pm followed by a happy hour. The reception will be inside the Eagle Eye restaurant with dinner starting at 7pm.
No! The bride and groom got you covered! All guests invited will receive a complimentary gondola pass for 2 days. One day must be used for the wedding day, the second day can be used on your arrival or day after. We encourage all guests to look at section ‘Things to do’ for ideas on how you can use your pass.
The gondola will shut down to the public at dusk. Guests MUST go to the attendant stationed at the top to let them know they are leaving (they have had guests jump in and get stuck in the middle until another guest leaves. Don’t let that be you!). They will start up the gondola and let you on. The last gondola ride is at 12:45am.
No. However, we are putting together a Spotify playlist. Please send us any song requests (including the kiddos!) so we can add them to the playlist.
No. We have been together for 10 years and have more than everything we need. If guests feel obligated, we ask for funds to go towards our wedding or honeymoon. There will be a basket on one of the tables.
