Come learn to play Viking Yard Chess and be a pro for wedding day! *featuring Dylan and Dalton disagreeing about rules*
RMNP Hike with the Bride & Groom Sept. 10th
Meet at the grub shack by 7:30am to carpool into the national park to do a short easy hike with us!
Post-Hike Drinks Sept. 10th approx. 1pm
Head on down to the Estes Park Brewery where we used to work for a beer with us after hiking (stayed tuned, this could change to Elkin's Distillery)!
Hike from the Ranch with us! Sept. 11th, 9:30am
Meet at the ranch and hike 3 downhill-ish miles to a little town called Glen Haven where you can grab ice-cream and a ride back to the ranch, or turn around and hike back!
Wedding Prep Projects - Sept. 11th
Help us with any last projects! And bond over labor...
Welcome Happy Hour Sept. 12th approx. 3pm
Enjoy a drink w/ the Bride & Groom at the outdoor bar where the Groom's brother works (drinks not provided).
Welcome Yard Games & Hang out - Sept. 12th 5pm-9pm
Catch us at the ranch hanging out, playing yard games, chatting, etc. and probably handling last minute details. :) BYO dinner & drinks!

This was our first job after college graduation. We both worked here for the summer!
Rocky Mountain National Park
Self explanatory! Lots of folks who live in Colorado or the rangers have great hike recommendations. Admission is $25/car/1-day or $35/car/7-days unless you have an annual or senior pass! If you aren't a hiker, check out Trail Ridge Road for some great views.
The Stanley Hotel
Emily recommends the ghost tour here! Fun historic building - especially if you've seen The Shining and/or have been to Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood in Oregon.
Hike to Glenhaven General Store
This is a favorite hike from the ranch. It is (almost) all downhill and you can hike directly from the ranch to the general store for ice-cream, fudge, cinnamon rolls and other treats. You could opt to hike back, or plan a car ride and have a buddy pick you up approximately 1.5 hours after you leave.

A whiskey bar with a lovely outdoor seating option!
Hike to Gem Lake
Roundtrip Length: 3.5 Miles Trailhead Elevation: 7870 Feet Total Elevation Gain: 1000 Feet Avg. Elev Gain / Mile: 571 Feet Highest Elevation: 8860 Feet Trail Difficulty Rating: 5.50 (moderate) This trail will make you huff and puff if coming from sea level (it was Emily's first hike upon moving to Colorado) but has a rewarding lunch spot at the top. Entrance/Parking is free but can be hard to come by! We suggest going earlier in the morning.
