The most convenient airport to fly into is San Diego International (SAN). From there, you will find easy access to rental cars, ride shares, and public transit. We recommend booking a hotel or vacation rental in the Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Point Loma, and Del Mar areas. All these areas are close to the ocean and offer plenty of food and activities for visitors.
