What time is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start at 1:30pm. Please plan on arriving after 1:00 - we are aiming to have the first of our wedding party walking down the aisle at 1:30, and we don't want you to miss it!

What are the vibes?

Answer

Casual and comfy! Feel free to dress up if you want to, but you don't have to. Just be mindful of the spring weather - we will be out in the yard and might get a little muddy! We will be outside all afternoon: sitting under tents at our tables, playing yard games, and chatting with our loved ones as we start our new adventure. Picture a family picnic :)

What is the food plan?

Drinks: Water, iced tea, sodas *Available following the ceremony Dinner: Taco bar (beef), your choice of assembly! *Anticipate eating by 4:00pm Desserts: A thousand cookies (literally!) and a couple sweet cakes *Opened after dinner

Where are the bathrooms?

We will rent a couple of portable toilets (the kind with flushing and sinks!) for easy access during our backyard celebration.

How will we spend our time?

Answer

After saying "I do", we'll be getting pictures with various groups. During this time, drinks and yard games will be out for everyone to socialize. After pictures, we'll dig into the food! There will be a couple of dances and speeches after we eat. We won't have a dance floor, but the games and awesome company will be there for quality time spent together all afternoon.

Is there a weather plan?

We will be spending the afternoon outside, rain or shine! Please check the weather and dress accordingly.

Where should I park?

Answer

Short answer: In the spots marked throughout the yard! Long answer: When you drive along Denny Road (coming from 79 or 19 to route 98), our house will be on the left. We have a horseshoe-shaped driveway. Please drive up the first entrance. Our wedding party and immediate family will park in the yard to the left. All other guests will continue along the driveway in front of the garage before driving in front of our house through the right-side yard. Parking spaces will be clearly marked out to make sure we can fit all of the cars - please drive to the farthest available spot to fill in our "parking lot"! Feel free to drop off anyone who needs shorter access to the ceremony tent/chairs anywhere along the way through the yard.

Will there be kids at the wedding?

Answer

In our efforts to keep our guest list at the "backyard wedding" size, there won't be kiddos at the wedding. The littles that you will see are our niece and nephew. We hope to share our home with our cousins and friends' kids at future family/friends gatherings!
