This is the southern most point of the African continent and the place where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet only a short drive from the wedding venue.
This is a a fantastic hike, especially when done in the late afternoon/sunset. Take some cheese and crackers and enjoy the view of Table Mountain, Camps Bay and Camp Town for 500m above (I preferred this to table mountain - Joe)
Signal Hill Cape Town is a flat-topped hill that is situated next to Lion’s Head, forming part of Table Mountain. This is where the famous Noon Gun is fired every day at 12h00 on the dot. It’s also where you can enjoy some of the best views in the city, fly model planes, try some paragliding or simply enjoy a bit of nature. It’s sometimes called Lion’s Rump, and, together with Lion’s Head, this part of the mountain resembles a sleeping lion or a sphinx.

The best coffee in Cape Town and possibly even Africa, where the black gold is roasted on site. If its too late for coffee they have you covered also as there is a micro-brewery also on site. Whaaaaat?! Pretty obvious why this was Joe's most favouritest favourite place in Cape Town.

A low key alternative to the V&A Waterfront. Plenty of great small bars and restaurants. The perfect place to start a night out in Cape Town.
Camp Town's answer to Bondi. Well worth a visit on a sunny day though not the best for a swim if the cold water doesn't have you running back to your towel screaming the sharks might.
A bit of a local haunt and a good alternative to Camps Bay for those willing to go a little further afield. If travelling to the Cape of Good Hope be sure to return to Cape Town via Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak Drive, hands down on the prettiest coastal drives on the planet. Think Sea Cliff Bridge but better!
The centre of the South African wine universe!
Stellenbosches lesser known cousin and home to some of the best damned wine on the planet! I shit you not. If you want uncomplicated but world class gastronomic experiences at some of the oldest wineries outside of Europe this is the place.
