What started as a seasonal job for Lauren, wrapping gifts at the barbershop, turned into the beginning of many adventures to come. Drew quickly noticed Lauren's beauty and kindness as she interacted with those around her. Lauren was instantly drawn to Drew's outgoing personality, and musicality as he sang along to all of the Christmas songs playing in the shop! They connected over craft brews as they shared Treehouse Brewing Company beer on their first date. Lauren and Drew enjoyed and continue to enjoy hiking and walking together while talking and growing closer. Their first vacation together was to Cape May, NJ. This was the first of many trips that they took to the beach, which holds a special place in their hearts. Along with going to the shore, they also took a few trips to see Dave Matthews Band in concert. When Lauren was introduced to their music by Drew, it was the beginning of the soundtrack to their love story. One concert in particular was an escapade full of firsts in Saratoga Springs, NY. It was Lauren’s first time seeing the band in concert, their first time camping in a trailer, and their first time tackling a variety of challenges as a team. Weekend getaways to breweries, bed and breakfasts, polo matches, ski resorts, and football games were only the beginning of bigger excursions to come. Their first time flying somewhere for the week was to Walt Disney World, and since then, they knew they were travel partners for life! Lauren and Drew have enjoyed visiting St. Pete Beach, Utah, Colorado, and California, finding new spots to add memories to their love story. When they are not adventuring together, they can be found spending time with their families or hosting parties with their friends. Lauren always has a vision and theme for each event they host and Drew enjoys watching her thrive in her element. He always helps out wherever he can to ensure everything is “perfect.” After all the fun vacations and events are over, you will almost always find Drew working at his barbershop. Lauren has always been Drew’s biggest supporter and loves his passion for his craft and their dog, Aspen. Raising a puppy together might very well be the wildest ride to date, but they take the challenge on together with joy in their hearts. Together, they've worked to create a wedding experience that reflects their love in the truest of forms. They hope you can join them in this once-in-a-lifetime adventure!

Lauren and Drew kicked off their California vacation in Napa on June 26th, 2024. As a beer drinker, Lauren didn't really care which wineries they went to as long as they got to visit one: Staglin Family Vineyard, the filming location for The Parent Trap, Lauren's favorite movie of all time. Drew and Lauren had a private tour of the grounds, including the vineyard and winery. After the walking tour was over, they settled on the porch for a guided tasting overlooking the mountains and vineyard (best Chardonnay EVER)! When the tour guide, David, asked if they wanted to take photos, Lauren, of course, jumped at the opportunity! After the first photo didn't meet Drew's standards (suspicious), they tried again. At that moment, Drew dropped to one knee and asked Lauren to make him the "happiest man in the world.” Amidst shock, squealing, and tears, Lauren managed to repeat "of course" while being blinded by the most beautiful diamond she had ever laid eyes on! They spent the rest of the visit sampling reds and buying some bottles for toasts back home. Lauren and Drew felt so loved and supported as they told family and friends at home from afar. They continued their celebration spending quality time in Yosemite National Park, Morro Bay, Santa Barbara, Disneyland, and San Diego!
