We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.
Though we absolutely adore the littles in our life, for our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding adults-only (21+), so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!
Our ceremony will be held a Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines and the reception will follow at Hotel Fort Des Moines located downtown. Check the home page for further details!
We can't wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Please join us in your best formal attire. Gentlemen may wear a suit and tie. Ladies may wear a floor-length gown or elegant cocktail dress. Since it’s a late August celebration, feel free to embrace light, breathable fabrics, soft colors, classic neutrals, or elevated florals.

Our ceremony begins at 3:30 pm. We’d love for you to arrive between 3:00–3:15 so you have plenty of time to park, find your seat, and get comfy before the celebration starts!
Yes! There will be plenty of parking spaces available to accommodate for our special guests. We recommend parking in the large parking lot off Aspen Dr just outside the Chapel and main entrance doors.
Hotel Fort Des Moines offers secured, covered valet parking available for $36 with in/out privileges. There is also a third-party parking garage located directly behind the hotel on 1100 Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50309 for $13/day.
Transportation will not be provided between the ceremony and reception. Both venues are located a short distance apart, and parking will be available at each location. We encourage guests to plan accordingly. If you prefer not to drive, carpooling or rideshares are great options. We appreciate your understanding!

Yes! We are delighted to share that a plated dinner will be served during the reception. Guests will enjoy a full meal, and dietary accommodations will be honored for those who have shared them with us.
