The story begins at Levitt Middle School in 2003. Fatasia the social butterfly, remembers Drew as the quiet student in class. Although they spent two years in school together, they knew little about each other. They would go on to separate High Schools and not see each other again until 2014. This time the low-key Drew would follow Fatasia via Instagram. Fatasia was clueless but curious about the follower. She scrolled through his pictures and thought he was very attractive, but did not recognize him as her childhood classmate. Months later they became friends via snapchat. On May 2, 2015, the night of Mayweather v. Pacquiao boxing match, they exchanged a few words via snapchat. Drew provided the address of his location, and asked Fatasia to visit but they would not meet this evening. Three days later and unfamiliar with the app, Fatasia unknowingly sent Drew a private message. Drew responded and called Fatasia's bluff for standing him up. Drew provided his phone number and they began talking all night. The First Date: On May 16th, 2015 after talking on the phone everyday since May 5th, 2015, they would go on their first date. Fatasia aimed to look perfect, but it rained, and her idea of perfection no longer exist. In fact nothing went as planned, but the date went better than expected. They walked blocks in the rain from his car, to Cantino Dos Segundos in Philadelphia, PA. They laughed the entire night. Drew opened entrance doors and car doors like a gentlemen. On their way back to the car, Drew grabbed Fatasia in the middle of traffic and kissed her. They fell in love, and would be inseparable from that moment on. The couple would spend the next three years dating while Drew pursued a career as a Marine Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Drew popped the question on March 31, 2018 using a teddy bear dressed in uniform, holding a box, with his voice over asking Fatasia to marry him. Without a doubt, she said YES!
