Travel Note

Downtown La Jolla vs. La Jolla Shores

- The downtown La Jolla area (near La Jolla Cove) is very walkable with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. The welcome party and any post-reception drinks will take place in downtown La Jolla. - The La Jolla Shores neighborhood is more laid back and beach-oriented with fewer shops, cafes, and restaurants, but has great surfing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. The wedding ceremony & reception are at the Scripps Seaside Forum, which is in La Jolla Shores. (Note: downtown La Jolla is about a 10-15 min drive from La Jolla Shores)
