The man Paulie Gianone (Paulie Gee) is famous for serving his wood-oven pzzas in a dimly lit re-purposed horse stable while playing classic rock at absurd volumes and reminding all customers in person how great he is. The pizza, however, is a can't-miss. This is easily one of our favorite restaurants in all of NYC. They don't take reservations, so get there early. Or put your name down and grab a drink at Ramona. Go to Paulie Gee's.
Everything is cooked over an open wood fire. Everything. Head chef Norberto Piattoni worked under Francis Mallman in Uruguay and brought his unique stylings to Brooklyn. Incredible natural wine selection and beer list to boot. For those seeking a memorable meal, do not miss this. Reservations recommended.
