FAQs

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What is the weather supposed to be like?

Answer

If you haven't been to Flagstaff, or haven't visited in some time, the weather is what the locals call "bi-polar." One day it is sunny and warm, and with the snap of a finger it is rainy, gloomy and chilly. Regardless for the time of year in April, expect the weather to be sunny and mid to low 65s during the day and then drop to mid to upper 50s at night. Flagstaff is known to be very windy so pack for the possibility of a brisk evening.

Question

Will the ceremony be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both outside. There is a lodge, but it reserved for the bridal party and immediate family as it only has a bridal suite, grooms room and two small waiting areas and the restrooms. The ceremony site is in the woods behind the venue and then the reception takes place on a wrap around deck which surrounds the lodge and the dinner area is under a covered ramada near the venue.

Question

Can I bring a "plus one"?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Do you have a reserved hotel(s) for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We have limited reserved rooms at select hotels listed under the "Travel" tab on this website. If those rooms are booked, or do not work for you, Flagstaff has plenty of other options to stay at. Just make sure to book ahead of time as the rates will increase as the date approaches and due to other events that may be occurring in Flagstaff during the same weekend.

Question

Will there be special diet options for dinner?

Answer

There will be gluten-free options as the bride and several guests have food allergies. If you require a special diet please let us know as soon as possible and we will try to accommodate as best as possible, but please know we cannot accommodate multiple, single and/ or different requests.

Question

Will transportation be provided to/ from the hotel(s)?

Answer

Transportation to the venue is the responsibility of the guest. You can coordinate with the hotel you are staying at for the possibility of a shuttle. The venue has limited parking so if you are driving your personal vehicle, please try to carpool. Uber, Lyft, taxis and ride shares are all great options as well.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, with select options. The venue provides two beer selections and three wine selections with enough to last the length of the reception for the amount of guests. We will also be providing select hard liquor choices for mixed drinks. The venue allows guests to bring their own alcohol, but it must be kept behind the bar and served by the licensed bartender.
