About 10 minutes from Angels Camp there is a fun and short hike to a cavern. You can wade or float through it if you want! There are picnic tables as well if you’re wanting an outdoor picnic!
Moaning Caverns Adventure Park
About 10 minutes from Angels Camp, there is an awesome cave to explore. Tons of fun things to do. There’s even a zip line!
Columbia Kate's Teahouse
About 20 minutes from Angels Camp, there is THE cutest tea shop in the world! A MUST-STOP for tea lovers! Sit down, order a pot of tea and some scones or other savory items and you’ll have an AMAZING afternoon:)
Downtown Sonora
About 20 minutes from Angels Camp, Downtown Sonora has many amazing restaurant and shops! Check out Legends! It’s an amazing old bookstore and a great place to get a sasparilla float. Coffee recommendation: Union Hill Coffee. Restaurant recommendations: Diamondback Grill and Emberz. Other restaurant recommendations not Downton but in Sonora are: The Standard Pour and The Peppery.
New Melones Lake
