The Penn State Creamery has been bringing friends and families together since 1865! Go visit where Grandma Joan (AKA CLJG) met Nate for the first time and fell in love with him! The Creamery is the largest university creamery in the United States and has been an important Penn State landmark as well as a world leader in dairy production and food science. With having over 100 flavors, the ice cream is made using milk from Penn State's own 200 Holstein cow herd. On average, it takes about 4 days for the milk to come from the cow and turn into your ice cream! Just beware, it is frowned upon to mix and match flavors!
The Arboretum at Penn State is a public botanical garden and natural landscape located on the University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania. It combines cultivated gardens, walking trails, woodlands, and open fields to support education, research, and recreation. Open daily from dawn to dusk and free to the public, the Arboretum serves as a welcoming space for all! Come see where Nate and Allie shared countless picnics in the beautiful gardens!
Visit the oldest standing building on campus. Before being rebuilt in the 1930's and turned into an administrative building, Old Main served as the one and only building when the university first opened in 1863! It housed students and faculty, and it served as classrooms, laboratories, and offices back when the university was just an agricultural college!
Come and take pictures with the famous Nittany Lion Shrine that is within walking distance from the Nittany Lion Inn!
What seems to be off the beaten trail, a quick drive out of the city and you will come to this overlook, where on a clear day or night you can oversee the entire valley! Come visit where Nate and Allie stopped on numerous occasions to take in all of the beauty!
